Suprena Hickman is a Nurse Entrepreneur with 26 years of experience. She founded a vocational school and supports women entrepreneurs. Her mission is to transform healthcare through resilience and holistic wellness.

Sandra M. Robinson brings nearly five decades of nursing and teaching experience to Sankofa Training & Wellness Institute. A former hospital Nursing Supervisor and Nursing Educator at UNCW, she has been part of Sankofa since its beginning and continues to support the program when called upon. Her lifelong passion for nursing education and mentorship has made a lasting impact on future generations of caregivers.

Missy Jo has nearly 50 years of experience as an RN, working in hospitals, long-term care, and dementia units. She is certified as a CNA Trainer, CPR Instructor, and Alzheimer’s Disease Trainer. Her passion lies in helping future healthcare professionals grow.

Adrienne Bryant has been a Registered Nurse since 1977 and brings over four decades of clinical excellence to the Sankofa Training & Wellness Institute team. She began her career in the Intensive Care Unit, where she spent 16 years providing critical care to patients in need. Since 1990, she has served in the Operating Room specializing in cardiac open-heart, vascular, and orthopedic surgery. For the past six years, Adrienne has continued her commitment to quality care in outpatient surgery, where her compassion, skill, and dedication continue to shine.

Rose Carabio is a Virtual Assistant skilled in administrative support and project management. She helps businesses stay organized and efficient while enjoying creative design work and family time.

Cate Calson guides new students through the admissions process with care and attention to detail, ensuring every future healthcare hero starts their Sankofa journey with confidence.

Jack Eng supports students from application to enrollment with professionalism and compassion, helping streamline Sankofa’s training programs for all learners.
